Event registration

Terms and conditions

These terms apply when you submit a church event registration through this form.

Registration details

Please provide accurate and complete information. The church may use the submitted details to administer the event, manage attendance, contact the primary contact, and support safe event operation.

Children and minors

If you register a child or minor, you confirm that you are their parent, legal guardian, or otherwise authorized to register them for this event. You also confirm that the child or minor has permission to attend and participate in the event.

You agree to provide accurate emergency contact, medical, dietary, allergy, collection, and authorized-adult details where requested. The church may use this information for safeguarding, supervision, sign-in/sign-out, emergency response, and appropriate care during the event.

Only authorized adults recorded for a child or minor should sign them in or out where the event requires this. Church staff or volunteers may refuse collection or release where they have reasonable safeguarding concerns.

The church may take photographs or video during events for safeguarding, attendance, internal record-keeping, church communications, newsletters, website, social media, or future event publicity. Where children or minors are involved, photo or video use should respect safeguarding expectations and should not identify a child by full name without appropriate permission.

If you do not want yourself or a child/minor you are registering to appear in photos or videos used for church communications or publicity, please tell the event organizer before or at the event. The church will make reasonable efforts to respect this, but cannot guarantee that incidental background appearances will never occur in group or crowd settings.

Health, safety, and conduct

You agree to tell the church about relevant medical, allergy, dietary, accessibility, or welfare needs before the event. In an emergency, the church may contact emergency contacts and seek appropriate medical assistance.

Participants are expected to follow reasonable instructions from church staff and volunteers. The church may remove a participant from an event or refuse future attendance where behavior creates a safety, safeguarding, or welfare concern.

Acceptance and changes

Submitting a registration does not guarantee a place unless the church confirms acceptance or the event is configured for automatic acceptance. The church may review, accept, reject, cancel, or update registrations where needed for capacity, safeguarding, operational, or pastoral reasons.

Use of information

The information you submit may be stored and used for event administration, attendance records, safeguarding, follow-up communication, and church operational records. Access is limited to people who need it for those purposes.

Questions

If you have questions about these terms or need to update a registration, please contact the church office or the event organizer.
